Polymorphosum urbanum

A population of clones, a herd of zombies, mutants rather; they take up space, invade the underground city, animated by an internal force that pushes them to travel in a group. A pack of individuals who oscillate to the rhythm of their own DNA, in rhythm with the crowd, dancing in unison.

Polymorphosum urbanum is an in situ choreography with variable geometry; it is a dance performance for thirty dancers who are dancing their own genetic signatures, a 240-nucleotide long fragment of the mitochondrial DNA control region – mutation as an individualization factor.
